I had damaged my ankle muscle from a fall whilst travelling in South America. I gained so much weight waiting to heal. I felt so depressed, I am normally an active person and couldn't even do the simplest of things; going up the flights of stairs, running or even walking more than 5 minutes.
Before my injury I hiked a lot, went on long walks and did basic exercise. It was mainly exercising when I was in the mood - no real routine.
The results I got from the program were amazing! I'm much less fatigued and have so much more energy, I'm no longer depressed, and I lost half a stone in 3 weeks!!! I can walk fast, and deal with stress so much better now. I feel happy, and I now really enjoy exercising.
Gavin and his support and being reachable and flexible at any time has been invaluable. I learnt so much including how important my diet is and introducing protein, and he made the exercise fun and engaging. Also, I didn't have to spend hours working out to get the results I wanted!

I didn't know what to do before, but Gavin helped and guided me through everything, and now I can't believe how much I can lift!

I was making no progress in the gym or with my fitness goals. I tried some lifting, and mainly cardio and classes, but I didn't make any progress at all. It was very disheartening and I knew I needed some help.
I was going to the gym but didn’t understand how to make progress, struggled with using machines and never used free weights. Found I was just hurting myself from not using them correctly and then giving up!

I re-gained weight after having bariatric surgery 4 years ago. I had a lack of confidence in using equipment in the gym, so I lost my mojo with my training and had no direction in what to do next to lose weight, tone, strengthen, and gain confidence in the gym and every day life.
I did lots of classes in the past initially after bariatric surgery, which worked to a point. Tried other personal trainers and online coaches, but they didn't understand my injuries from past accidents and lack of confidence in using new equipment or doing different exercises.

Gavin and DeadFit are great to work with, as you learn what each exercise does, which muscle groups are being worked. You might not think your working hard, but the next day DOM's will prove that you have worked so hard. The recipe sheets he sends monthly have some delicious dishes that aren't difficult to make. DeadFit gives fantastic nutritional advice, not everyone is the same on their calorie intake. After my bariatric surgery, my daily calorie/portion size is greatly reduced, and working with DeadFit on maintaining this we have tweaked my daily intake so I am still losing weekly without going hungry or feeling tired through lack of nutrition
Gavin and DeadFit have given me so much confidence in myself that I can achieve anything. I feel I would of given up and not bothered with continuing to lose weight way past what the bariatric surgeon said I would lose, or increased my fitness so much, not only since the gym's re-opened, but all through the lockdown too DeadFit worked with me training in the park via Zoom.

I could never stick to a workout and didn't know what was good for weight loss and toning. I had preconceived ideas that spending hours on the cardio machines was the best way to do it.
I just did a few things myself. Cardio, some weights, some free classes in the gym.
I lost approx 10kg and dropped two dress sizes. I also have toned up, gained muscle and have muscle definition, which I didn't think was possible! I've never felt so good, and I have already got my next programme!

No matter how much I went to the gym I couldn't shift certain areas of fat or tone up. I felt like I wasn't making any progress, and I'd gotten stuck in a rut.
I was just going to the gym. I thought that if I just went and did stuff, I would get the results I wanted.
The results I got were incredible! I lost well over a stone in weight. I toned up the areas I was struggling with, gained confidence working on weights which I had never done before, pushed my myself to do things I wouldn't have done before and enjoyed the gym. I also gained body confidence, which made me very happy.
Gaining body confidence and feeling happy in myself was by far the best things about the program.
